Saturday 4/24

(Kids Run & Triathlon Race Day)
9 - 10:30am Andy Allison Kids Run Packet pickup at race site
11:00am Andy Allison Kids Run Start. (Age divisions go off roughly every 20 Mins.)
Kids race awards follow directly after each event.
   
3:00pm Transition area opens
3 - 4:30pm Late Packet Pick up for Tri and Du at the DeGray Lake Spillway Area
4:45pm Transition Area closes (all bikes must be racked)
4:50pm Pre Race Instruction at water front
5:00pm Tri Start: 1st wave (each wave separated by 3 min)
7:30pm Awards @ Race Site
   

Sunday 4/25

(Duathlon Race Day)
7:00am Transition area opens
7 - 8:30am Late Packet Pick up at the DeGray Lake Spillway Area
8:45am Transition Area closes (all bikes must be racked)
8:50am Pre Race Instruction
9:00am Duathlon Start
11:00am 11:00am - Awards @ Race Site
































Course Information

SWIM - 400 Yards
DeGray Lake: rated as one of the cleanest fresh water lakes in America. You can drink it...
The race begins with a deep water start. The Entry and Finish area is on a large concrete boat
ramp. Swim course will close 30 minutes after the send off of the last wave. Historically the water
temp in late April is in the low to mid 70's. If water temp is above 78F wet suit will not be allowed.

BIKE - 13.5 Miles
Newly repaved (fall of 2009) roads for most of the course. But it ain't flat...
The same Bike Course will be used for both the Tri and Du.

RUN - 2.5 Miles
The Course is out and back on Skyline Drive. Aid stations will be located at roughly 1 mile increments
and are very well stocked. Yes, this is one tough run. 1.25 miles up the side of Iron Mountain and
then turn around and come back down. The Run for the Tri and the 1st and 2nd run for the Du will be the same.
